There are a few reasons to explain why I loved this book.

  • First: spiritual communication.
  • Second: subjectivity is better than objectivity.
  • Third: truly, purely, and no stakeholder.

During active speaking class, students focus on specific topics to share their thoughts and minds. There is no correct answer because we come from different cultures, natures, and experiences. I always open my mind to experience and to listen what the students say, especially situations that I have never encountered before.

An interesting topic in the book is about life. For example, Is life fair? Another socially discussion is The moral issue of abortion. Every single one, even the teacher, shares their subjectivity and stories.

The most impressive story is about “When did you become brave” and “What do you think the world is fair”. One of story about conversion felt unfair to fair, it touched my heart. They shared true things with me: no matter who I am a stranger.

“Somebody said that when I was young I got lupus, chronic disease and no cure available, I had thinking and asking myself 「 Why Me?」, why does this terrible body I have, why not my sisters… day by day. Finally, she choose her existing body and every moment what she was. And choose “Embrace the ALL” is her secret of being brave.

However, I rarely open the book. There are many teaching stories that have been written for people to read. That’s why I love the topics in the book — they help me incrementally explore my deceptive heart.
